Practice Run:  On Thursday, April 17, we took the trailer out for it's first test run in 2014.  Guy seemed a little nervous behind the wheel but seemed to get over it on the way back.  I don't want him too cocky driving it anyhow.  The smoke detector was beeping it's head off but a new battery set that to rights.  Everything else was functional.  I'm thinking the trailer needs a name. I'll give it some thought.  Any suggestions?? 
    We stayed at Merry Meadows.  It was the first placed we have been that said anything about vaccinations for Ripley.  I had the proof but we only needed to put the rabies tag number on the form.  Ripley liked camping there.  The site had many sticks for him to munch .  The campgrounds had a fenced in dog area with 3 agility type obstacles and a hiking path along a stream.  Next practice run is scheduled for the beginning of May.
