We came back to Oregon, going south this time. We headed for Crater Lake but made a couple stops on the way.  At one RV park, our reservation was for one night, we had planned two nights. One decided to stay the one night and look for a place in Bend. It took a lot of phone calls to find a place. It turned out to be a real dive. Thank goodness it wasn't a hotel. Bend, Oregon was a great place, a river for water activities, restaurants on the river, super dog friendly. It seemed like everything you needed was in town. At Crater Lake, we drove around the lake getting out at all the pulloffs. Our first view of the lake was the most impressive. Pictures don't do it justice but we still took them. Wildfires are making the news everyday. We have seen smoke and hear our destination towns mentioned but so far we have made no changes. Who knows what tomorrow will bring.
