We went from New Orleans to Alabama to go to Bellingrath home and gardens. The home was built for Alabama's coca cola king. It started as a fishing hut on five acres an later became a three dining room three, bedroom home on 65 acres. Something is in bloom every day of the year. We ere surprised how many roses and hibiscus as well as other flowers were in bloom while we were there. We were not allowed to take photographs inside. Let me tell you she collected numerous items. There were 20 or 30 sets of dishes, doll heads, porcelain figurines, silver and more.
