Family Visits 1 (noun/verb)

Matthew and his girlfriend came to visit us for a week. They flew in to Portland and flew back from Boise. They were with us 8 days. It was good to have them here. We visited the Columbia
River Gorge, saw waterfalls, gambled at a casino (not me), went to a water park, played croquet and much more.

Oregon Coast

We left Long Beach, heading south to the Oregon coast.  It was an overcast day but still beautiful.  When the sun came out it was gorgeous.  Our campsite was right across from the beach but we did not have a view.  Cape Kiwanda was a small resort area with a great beach.  The water was cold, very cold. There was a huge sand dune everyone was climbing up then running down. I tried to climb but hurt my knee in the process.  I could barely put weight on it for 24 hours but I pushed through it.  It still bothers me but no more than the left so I guess it is back to normal. The coast was beautiful.
