Glacier National Park

We arrived in Glacier on an overcast day. We had a beautiful day, then a rainy day, then a cloudy day. To make things worse Going to the Sun road was partial closed. Our base camp was in West Glacier, less than 5 miles from the entrance. Our campground was really nice. We made the best of the weather. On our beautiful day, we drove around the outside of the park. We arrived at the St Mary's entrance and proceed.to Going to the Sun road. It followed along Lake St Mary. The lake was gorgeous, the color unbelievable, it was incredible. The pictures we took do not do it justice. On the rainy day, we did nothing. We had to go out the next day or we would miss Lake McDonald. The sun did come out a tiny bit but the colors were washed out. The wildest animal we saw was deer.

this shop still had some sundry items but mostly fresh baked goodies.  it smelled like brownies when you walked in
but it also had bearsclaws with huckleberries and a muffin bearclaw combo in many flavors.
