We headed north after leaving the balloon fiesta. We had debated about going south but no snow was in the forecast so we headed for Colorado. It rained while we were in Colorado Springs, so maybe we should have went to Texas. Oh well, we will just have to go again some other time. Before we got to Colorado, we stopped in Taos, New Mexico.

 |

| after eating they settled in for a rest |
 |
| it was beautiful the day we left. And the rain was snow on top of Pike's Peak |
