San Francisco/Napa Valley

After leaving Yosemite, we went to the coast, San Francisco. I was supposed to meet Mark there, but he flew to Hawaii to avoid me. We did a lot of the tourist stuff in San Francisco. The Golden Gate Bridge, Chinatown, Lombard Street to name a few. We went to the Point Reyes Lighthouse and to Napa Valley. It is a wonderful area with so much to see and do.

there was a wind chill factor when we rode across the golden gate bridge
We were on the top of a double decker bus

it took awhile to park but we caught the ferry to San Francisco

the ferry dropped us off at Pier 1, we walked past Pier 39 to Fisherman's Wharf

the hop on hop off tour bus, we hopped off then had to wait for another bus when
we went to get back on, so after we finally got on, we did not get off any more

There was so much to see, do and eat in SF

Lombard St is the crookedest street in the world, it reminds me of Bill Cosby's  the
Hills of San Francisco, if you have never heard it YouTube it
the city of San Francisco

August is not the best time to visit of you do not want fog

City Hall, the fifth largest dome in the world, styled after one Paris

they told us we were lucky to see the bridge at all in August. It is the foggy season

on Height and Ashbury St this sight greets you. from the summer of love in 1967

in the Victorian district of SF, so many gorgeous multi million dollar homes

So many forms of transportation trolleys, ferries, cars, buses...

one for Guy, one for me, mine is the blue one

Fisherman's Wharf, on Dottie's advice we tried the donuts, soooo goood

this was a fun shoot em up game, our targets were zombies

we left on the last ferry to Larkspur Landing

see how creative people are
